The 19th century Weteringschans is characterised by the large number of famous buildings. The neighbourhood is located between the beautiful Lijnbaansgracht and the Singelgracht. Typically about the neighbourhood are the many wide-open streets with beautiful trees that give it a spacious feel. The Weteringschans is located right in between the best spots of Amsterdam, close to the most beautiful museums of Amsterdam along the Museumplein, the shops at the 'Max Eeuwe Plein' and the Vondelpark. It is also next to the 'Grachtengordel' (canal ring) and in the summer you can enjoy a terrace along the Amstel.

The metro or tram will take you to the central station in less than 10 minutes and the A10 by car in 10 minutes.
